Make

A Make scenario moves data between apps on a schedule or a trigger. When a step should also change a member on your site, the HTTP > Make a request module posts the native webhook. No connector is involved, and the key rides the query string, so setup is one module.

Build the module

  1. Add an HTTP > Make a request module to your scenario.
  2. Set Method to POST.
  3. Under Query String, add two rows:
operation: update_member_data
membauth: YOUR_AUTH_KEY
  1. Set Body type to Raw, Content type to JSON (application/json), and paste the payload:
{
  "email": "{{1.email}}",
  "fields": { "newsletter_optin": "yes" },
  "add_tags": [12]
}

Map email from whichever module holds the member's address. Tag IDs are your local Torii tag IDs, and field keys are your local field slugs.

Test it

Run the scenario once with a member you control. The module's output shows the response: {"success": true, "data": "Completed."} means the update landed. Open the member in WordPress and confirm the field value and tag are applied.
