n8n

An n8n workflow already has your data moving between nodes. When a step should also change a member on your site, an HTTP Request node posts the native webhook. No connector is involved, and the key rides the query string, so the node needs only a URL and a body.

This is the inbound direction: your workflow pushes changes to Torii. Outbound events, Torii notifying n8n when something happens on the site, are handled by the n8n module.

Build the node

  1. Add an HTTP Request node to your workflow.
  2. Set Method to POST.
  3. Set URL to:
https://YOURSITE.com/?operation=update_member_data&membauth=YOUR_AUTH_KEY
  1. Under Send Body, choose JSON and paste the payload:
{
  "email": "={{ $json.email }}",
  "fields": { "newsletter_optin": "yes" },
  "add_tags": [12]
}

Swap the expression for whatever your upstream node outputs. Tag IDs are your local Torii tag IDs, and field keys are your local field slugs.

Test it

Run the workflow with a member you control and open the node's output. A 200 response with {"success": true, "data": "Completed."} means the update landed; check the member in WordPress to see the field value and tag applied.
