Ontraport

The Ontraport connector keeps contacts, tags, and custom fields in sync both ways between your site and Ontraport.

Ontraport is an all-in-one for small businesses selling online: campaigns, billing, membership delivery, and email in one dashboard. Its own membership features work, but WordPress sites that want Ontraport marketing without an Ontraport-hosted portal need a bridge, and that is what the connector is.

Access follows your tags, as everywhere in Torii. An Ontraport campaign that applies a tag on purchase opens the site to the buyer; a campaign step that removes it when a payment fails closes the site in the same motion. Because Ontraport also handles billing, the connector effectively gives you a checkout-to-access pipeline: the invoice is paid, the tag lands, the member is in.

Contacts and custom fields sync both ways. A member updating their details on your site updates the Ontraport record, and fields Ontraport holds can personalize pages on your site through shortcodes. Membership data also feeds Ontraport's reporting, so campaign performance and membership activity live in one place.

Setup is API credentials from your Ontraport account, a paste into the connection screen, and the connection check. Campaigns you've already built keep working; they simply gain the site as one more thing they control.
