Sensei
Course gating and progress for Sensei lessons, driven by tags.
Sensei is the LMS from the WooCommerce family, and on a membership site it has the familiar gap: it knows about courses, not about your members. Access to a Sensei course is granted inside Sensei, which means it is disconnected from the tags and automations that run the rest of the site.
The integration wires Sensei enrollment to your tags. Grant a tag and the member is in the course; take it away and they are out. Your CRM automations can sell, trial, upgrade, and expire course access without anyone touching the Sensei settings.
Shortcodes bring member state into page building. Show content based on whether the current member is enrolled in a course or has completed it, so a lesson page can greet a finisher differently from a newcomer, and a dashboard can list "your courses" accurately. Course history can be reset when needed, for retakes and membership restarts.
Progress records stay with the member, so returning members resume rather than restart.
