The Events Calendar
Events as membership content. Gate events and calendars by tag so members see what their membership includes.
The Events Calendar is the standard WordPress plugin for anything with a date: workshops, webinars, meetups, class schedules. On a membership site the interesting question about an event is always "who gets to come," and the plugin's own answer is a public/private toggle, which is too blunt. A members-only workshop isn't a secret; it's a benefit.
The integration makes events respect your tags. An event can require a tag to see its details, to register, or both. The calendar view follows the same rules, so a non-member browsing the calendar sees the public events and simply doesn't see the member ones, rather than seeing them listed and locked.
That maps cleanly onto how memberships actually sell events. One tier gets the monthly webinar included. A higher tier also gets the quarterly workshop. A public visitor sees a calendar that advertises the members' calendar without giving away the contents. Nobody maintains a separate members-only calendar page, because one calendar renders differently for each person.
Recurring events inherit the same rules, so a weekly members-only office hour needs its access set once. And because access is tags, your CRM can run the whole schedule: apply the tag when a member registers through a campaign, remove it when they cancel, and the calendar updates itself.
