Ultimate Member

Ultimate Member profiles and forms joined to your membership record, with access rules driven by your membership.

Ultimate Member builds community style profile pages: member directories, profile forms, registration flows. Sites adopt it for the member-facing experience, then discover it runs on its own user fields and its own access roles, separate from both the CRM and the membership system. Two member databases is one too many.

The integration makes the membership record the center. Profile fields map to the member record, so a member editing their Ultimate Member profile is editing the same data your CRM holds. Registration through Ultimate Member creates a real member, not just a WordPress user, with tags applied from the start.

Access follows your membership rules rather than Ultimate Member's own roles. A profile page, a directory, or a members-only area respects the member's access level, and when a membership ends, the profile stays but the access goes, on the same schedule as the rest of the site.

For communities, the pairing covers the shape most sites actually want: public profiles for members who opt in, directories visible to members only, and registration that feeds the CRM, all without a second source of truth about who the member is.
