Credits

Credits give members a balance they can spend. Grant credits through your CRM automations or admin actions, let members spend them on content, access, or anything else you price in credits, and show each member a live balance and full transaction history.

The typical use is metered access. A member buys or earns 10 credits; downloading a file or unlocking a lesson costs one. Instead of an all-you-can-eat subscription you get usage-based access, which fits libraries, asset downloads, tutoring time, and anything where the unit of value is smaller than the membership itself. Credits also work as a reward currency: award them for completing actions, then let members spend the balance in areas you choose.

Every grant, spend, and expiration flows through one balance, and shortcodes display it anywhere. Put the balance in a member dashboard with [memb_credits_balance], show the audit trail with [memb_credits_history], and members can see exactly where their credits went. Expirations are supported, so promo credits can die at month-end while purchased credits stick around.

Because credits are managed by tag like everything else in Torii, your CRM stays the source of truth for who gets what. Award credits from an automation when a member joins, spends above a threshold, or hits an anniversary, and the balance updates without touching your site.
